Grade 6 reads aloud

All grade 6 German classes were participating in the reading competition (www.vorlesewettbewerb.de) throughout Germany this week. It‘s under the aegis of the Federal President. 

In German class, the students first identify their best reader. Benjamin Kirsten's visit from Dynamo Dresden two weeks ago motivated our students – he showed them that football players also place value in reading very well. 

At the school finals Tom Hagen won. It was very tight. Nikolas Erfurth - 2nd place and Florian Gabler - 3rd place. He will take part in the competition among the best readers in Dresden.
