ISTA Festival @ DIS

From October 13 to 16 the DIS is hosting for the second time the International Schools Theatre Festival (www.ista.co.uk) for secondary school students (grade 10-12). About 85 students from 6 different schools are attending the festival: American International School of Budapest, Frankfurt International School, American Overseas School of Rome, Calderdale Theatre School, and Uskudar American Academy.

Working with trained theatre practitioners, the students will engage an inspiring array of performance activities centered on the theme of play. Students attend several workshops.

Students' work will be the result of three intense days of play and creation, in an ensemble theatre format. On Sunday, October 16 at 11:30 am at Annen Campus the final festival performance will involve all students.
