Welcome to the DIS!

Our essential goals are to provide our students with the support, advantages, and opportunities that will help them discover their talents, expand their abilities, and develop into engaged, compassionate world citizens who can contribute positively to their communities as leaders. The warm and supportive environment allows Dresden International School (DIS) students to gain a clear understanding of themselves, others, and the world around them. This orientation helps the students gain confidence, develop collaborative and leadership skills, and to provide multiple opportunities to demonstrate those talents in small group and public presentations. Our students are very active learners, very self-aware communicators, and very open-minded, caring community members.

Dresden International School is very proud of its status as the only international all-day school in Dresden, and as one of the few International Baccalaureate World Schools offering three full programs: the Primary Years Programme (Grades 1-5), the Middle Years Programme (Grades 6-10), and the Diploma Programme (Grades 11 & 12). Our graduates consistently earn IB scores and recognition well above international averages, and take advantage of these opportunities to attend universities in Germany and around the world.

Please take the time to search through the information on our website, to arrange a visit to the school (either individually or during one of our Open House Days), and to contact us if you have any questions. Dresden International School can open up possibilities for you and your child that will enrich their lives now and in the future. Please come and see our school, where World Citizens are Made in Dresden.
