Overview
Our Primary Years Program (PYP) for children age 5 to 11 appreciates and understands how important each and every child is. The PYP is the first part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program.
The key elements of the grade K-5 program are:
- English as language of instruction (language skills not pre-requisite)
- Extra support for non-English-speaking children
- Small classes with max. 20 students
- Classes from 8.30 am till 3.15 pm, on Tuesdays early dismissal at 2.20 pm
- Morning care from 7.30 am until 8.30 am
- After School Care from 3.15 pm until 6 pm
- After School Activities
- Highly qualified and bilingual teachers
- A partnership with parents including regular feedback on student progress and needs
- trimester reports
- Well-equipped library and classrooms
