Dear Families,

Welcome to the Primary Years Program at Dresden International School - a stimulating inquiry-based program for resourceful, independent learners. The K5 through grade 5 students enjoy a purpose-built facility on the Annen Campus with a program that has developed extensively over the last five years.

At DIS we have a culturally diverse staff committed to the cognitive, social, and emotional development of our students. Our talented, caring teachers strive to offer the best possible primary education in Dresden to globally-minded and internationally-mobile families. We are also committed to continuous program development and school improvement, for we see ourselves as teachers and learners.

It is essential for parents to engage in a partnership with us. Your support of DIS and its philosophy, including mother-tongue language, character-based education, and the development of independent, open-minded lifelong learners, is a vital element to your child’s success in our school.
