We are proud to share that DIS received the latest IB examination results on the 6th of July. This year, 28 of 31 students completed the full IB Diploma Program, eight of whom have attended DIS since Preschool or Grade 1. The students' hard work and perseverance resulted in a strong pass rate of 89.3%. The group that was awarded the IB Diploma achieved an average score of 32 points. The May 2026 cohort results awarded are based on their coursework and rigorous formal examinations built into the programs.
The majority of our students leave DIS as bilingual or multilingual learners. This year, 64% of our students graduated with a bilingual diploma. Along with mastering more than one language, students learn how to think critically, solve complex problems, and are prepared to engage in a globalized, ever-changing world.
Our heartfelt congratulations go to our students on reaching this important milestone. We are deeply grateful to our dedicated teachers for their commitment and support in guiding their learning journey. A special thank-you goes to our DP Coordinator, Ms. Wendy Bassam-Coles, whose leadership and encouragement have been instrumental in supporting the group over the past two years. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the families of our graduates, who have stood by their children — and our school — with unwavering support throughout this time.
