Transitioning to a new school, new city, new culture and perhaps a new language can be a daunting and sometimes lonely experience. Here at DIS, we would like to make this transition as smooth and easy as possible, not only for children, but for parents too.
We organize language ambassadors. If you wish, a parent representative speaking your language will contact you. Just let us know via email and we will support you. If you would like to become an ambassador, please send an email too.
Upon arrival, we offer a Welcome Day where new families will meet and mix with their buddy families, receive a Welcome Package and essential information about DIS.
DIS also has a Student Ambassador Program where a current DIS student in the same class helps your child navigate his or her new life at DIS.
