At DIS, we are strongly committed to Global Citizenship. This is based not only in the curriculum, but also in many other activities and events that shape our school. On Tuesday, November 2 we celebrated the start of the Indian festival of lights “Diwali” at our school campus. Our Indian community is an important one, and we were so happy to learn some of their customs such as making rangolis and painting henna tattoos. The home-made bread pakodas were delicious. We are so grateful to our parents, students and staff for helping to make it such an amazing day and for decorating our school campus. Happy Diwali!
