As an IB World School, we value the linguistic and cultural diversity of our community. We foster and support all of our students’ languages. Throughout the week before Easter Break we celebrated the languages we speak at our DIS Primary School through a variety of activities and engagements. Many of our teachers made videos speaking in languages other than English and we had many parents share videos of them reading in languages other than English. It has been a fantastic community experience with so much involvement from everyone. We would like to thank our families for their support and the ways in which they shared their cultures and their languages with us.
