On Saturday, 30 November 2019 our DIS Lego Club took part in the regional First Lego League competition in Dresden. First Lego League is a uniquely combined research and robotics competition offering children and young people access to science and technology.
Our team of students from grades 5 to 9 competed against eleven other schools. Most of the students in our team experienced a competitive situation for the first time. Even though the team could not land in one of the top places, all participants took a lot with them. Everyone has expanded their knowledge and gained self-confidence, so there will certainly be an increase next year.

All team members, especially the team captains, did a fantastic job - all on their own at the "RobotGame" table: careful, cool and disciplined. Bravo!

A special thank you goes to SAP SE and our Förderverein for sponsoring the club!

Students can join the club any time. The club meets every Wednesday at 15:30 in the Lego Club room (Building A, basement).
