Our Lunch Break Career Sessions are underway! Every Thursday during lunchtime, we invite our Secondary School students to join us for an engaging session exploring different pathways, careers, and opportunities after Grade 12.
In August and September, we were delighted to welcome three of our alumni, who shared their personal journeys and gave our students valuable insights into life after school.
Lilly, Class of 2022, spoke about her studies in Criminology and Sociology at the University of Stirling in Scotland. Tim, Class of 2016, shared his journey into medicine. Tim studied at Karl Landsteiner University of Health Sciences in Krems, Austria. James, Class of 2024, introduced his studies of Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Limerick in Ireland.
All three alumni offered our students a wonderful insight into the many different paths that they can follow after Grade 12. Their stories showed that careers can develop through a combination of university studies, practical experience, volunteering, internships, and personal interests.
Their journeys are a great reminder that there is no single path to a successful future — and that hearing directly from those who have taken these steps can be incredibly valuable for our students.
We look forward to welcoming more inspiring guests to our Lunch Break Career Sessions throughout the year!
