On Monday, 4 April, we were delighted to welcome Saxon Minister for Education Christian Piwarz to DIS for the purposes of presenting our improvements in IT integration for digital learning across the school and explaining the impact of the "Digitalpakt" funding initiative for the funding of new technology in the school. He was able to visit the Grade 2A class to see how the students are using technology in their daily learning, held an interview with Grade 7 students from the Newspaper Club and met with the DIS Board members. It was a successful and important visit for the school to pave the way for further positive collaboration with the state government.
