At the end of the school year, our Primary School teacher, Silke Wegehaupt, was honored with the Christa Peterson International Teacher Award.
Each school year, this monetary award is given to teachers who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to strengthening the international spirit of our school in many ways. Nominations are only accepted from colleagues. Silke has touched students and teachers in ways that made an impact on them both personally and professionally. She is an educator who aims to close students' achievement gaps. Silke works diligently to help them not only to achieve grade-level benchmarks but also to overcome their social and emotional issues.
We are very proud to have such a competent and caring teacher as part of our Primary School.
