Fundraising Association
Our work is supported by the Fundraising Association (Förderverein) that is committed to ensure that the school remains a key factor in the economic and cultural development of the greater Dresden region.
The Förderverein promotes and supports us in both material and nonmaterial terms. The members organize fundraising events and develop creative projects to ensure the financing of important school projects. In addition, the Förderverein identifies donors and sponsors.
They can proudly assist DIS to be a door to the world for Dresden and a door to Dresden for the world.
DIS keeps in touch with the school's alumni - whether you were a student or parent via our alumni programme. Our growing, mobile community would like to include you, hear your story or help you get in touch with members of the network of the greater DIS community.
Our Parent community is very much involved in the school life. We do offer many opportunities to be actively part of our school community.

In 2021 the renewal of our lighting system was supported by EU funds.
