Language Educators DEIJ-A Seminar

In January, our school hosted a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice and Anti-Racism (DEIJ-A) seminar for language acquisition and modern foreign language educators. Equity & Justice Researcher and Consultant, Alysa Perreras facilitated this insightful two-day seminar covering topics such as understanding identity and recognizing harm in curriculum practice. Among the participants from other international schools were DIS teachers. Our teachers regularly attend workshops and in-service training days that support them in their continuous professional development and help to maintain the high quality of the program at our school.
