DIS Students Attending MUN Conference

Mid of November six students of our Model United Nations (MUN) club participated in the MUN conference "Peacebuilding" in Berlin. All participants took the roles of delegates from different countries and simulated the United Nations. Our students represented Italy in various committees such as the Historical Security Council, Disarmament Committee, Environment Committee, and Social, Humanitarian and Cultural Committee. During the four days they discussed topics from the viewpoint of Italy in the committees, lobbied, proposed resolutions, and debated. It was a great opportunity for the students to improve their research, writing and communication skills which helps them to become world citizens.
