Easter Surprise

In our Preschool, our students learn about holidays from around the world. By making Easter baskets, our preschoolers used seasonal crafts for developing fine motor skills and for working with different materials.

For the baskets, the children worked with a partner and covered a balloon with paper machè. Once it was dried out they cut the balloon in half and added a layer of plaster. It is processed work, which means the children can not finish it in one go.  After the shape was dry they painted it and made paradise birds.
