On Monday, 24 April our Grade 6 – 11 students set off to various destinations on their week-long Residential Field Trips (RFT's). During their trips, the students took part in various activities such as hiking, visiting Auschwitz, learning about marine life, and attending cooking and art sessions. These trips provide students fantastic opportunities to learn beyond the classroom.
Unfortunately, due to strikes at Berlin Airport that led to a canceled flight, our Grade 9 students couldn't make their way to Dublin. Instead, they spent the RFT week doing activities around Dresden such as picking up trash next to the Elbe and doing a treasure hunt. Luckily, they were able to postpone their trip to Dublin and will now go at the end of May.
