Our Kindergarten teacher Ingrid Ellis was honoured with the Christa Peterson International Teacher Award at the end of the school year. This monetary award recognizes faculty who have demonstrated outstanding leadership in strengthening DIS’ international-mindedness in such areas as effective instruction, curriculum development, resource management, sustainable professional and self-development, parental involvement, and local as well as international community outreach.
