Team Building

At the beginning of the new school year all MYP and DP students went onto field trips to the Dresdner Heide and to the Elbe River. Grade 6-10 students and their advisors went to the “Dresdner Heide”, where the students are placed in teams. Equipped only with map and compass, the teams have to reach their destination, a small lake, where they need to find a treasure on an island. Grade 11 and 12 students went to the Elbe river where they had to build a raft. The students learn to work together, to communicate clearly and to think creatively. By exposing our students to this team building and bonding activities, they learn the skills of working in a team while having fun and they get to know each other better.
